Lemur is een MIDI en OSC controller app, ik gebruik Lemur op iPad en Android tablets als controller voor Cubase, mijn RME geluidskaarten en Windows besturing (programma’s starten, mappen openen/dichtdoen). Ik heb er al aardig wat tijd inzitten, want ik ben geen computerprogrammeur.
Een paar oplossingen voor problemen heb ik gepost in de “lemur user library”, links naar mijn uploads zet ik ook op deze website, misschien hebben anderen er iets aan:
Faders en buttons for Cubase:
Een template met daarin een fader met wat handigheidjes, (dubbelclick = set to 0db, “fine” knop), en wat buttons met extra functies.
Cubase Solo/Listen button:
Ik pleit op het Cubase forum al jaren voor deze functie, een techneut kan simpelweg niet zonder een “prive’ afluistering”in de vorm van PFL of AFL, gewoon omdat je af en toe ergens naar wilt luisteren zonder de uitvoerenden te storen. Het is ongelofelijk maar tot nu toe is er behalve Cubendo geen DAW waarin dit “native” geregeld is. Jammer is dan weer dat het in Cubendo erg ingewikkeld is om te switchen als je meer dan 1 “Mackie control” gebruikt, en dat er geen duidelijke visuele indicatie is van de staat waarin de solo mode zich bevind. Mijn knopje voor Lemur lost dit op, zie ook het Lemur forum hierover: Line Forum

I’ve been pleeding on the Cubase forum for years to get this propperly implemented, an engineer simply can’t do his job without PFL or AFL, sometimes you need to be able to check the sound without disturbing the musicians. I’ts incredible, but until now there is no DAW exept Cubendo that has this feature. Pitty is that in Cubendo it is complicated to switch solo modes if you use more than 1 “Mackie control” , and that there is no visual indication of the state of things.
